Trails Closed At 2 Southern Ocean Parks During Deer Hunting Season
Trails at Wells Mills and Freedom Fields county parks will be temporarily closed on certain dates this month as hunting occurs nearby.
SOUTHERN OCEAN COUNTY, NJ — Trails at two Southern Ocean County parks will be closed temporarily due to deer hunting this month, according to Parks & Recreation officials.
You won't be able to walk the trails of Wells Mills in Waretown or Freedom Fields in Little Egg Harbor on Dec. 5-10 and 14-16.
Deer hunting will be occurring on nearby lands, officials said.
