Training To Close Several Stafford Roads Wednesday: Police

An increased police presence and closed roads are to be expected in the area in the morning of Aug. 31 due to training, police said.

STAFFORD, NJ — A scheduled training exercise will close several roads in the area Wednesday morning, Stafford police said in a press release.

Expect to see an increased police presence and "many additional support personnel" at Stafford Township Intermediate School, St. Mary's Parrish Center and in the general area of the Doc Cramer ballfields from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Aug. 31, police said.

Several roads will be closed, including McKinley Avenue at Martin Truex Jr. Boulevard, Doc Cramer Boulevard at Ethan Boulevard (The Landings), and Doc Cramer Boulevard, in the area of the ballfields and the rear entrance into St. Mary’s, police said.

Police advise residents to plan an alternate route if necessary.

"Thank you for your support and cooperation!" Stafford police said.
