Tuckerton Seaport's Annual Christkindlmarkt On Tap For Saturday And Sunday

Get started on your holiday shopping at this European-style holiday market.

Got some holiday shopping to do or just want to get into the Christmas spirit?

Then head on over to the Tuckerton Seaport for the annual Christkindlmarkt, which began on Friday and continues throughout the weekend.

The event features craft and gift vendors, food court, hot Gluhwein, kiddie rides, Santa, rolling chair sleigh rides on the boardwalk, horse and wagon rides, demonstrations, live entertainment, and holiday gift-making demonstrations.

Interested in making your own holiday gifts or decorations? Drop in to Master Basketmaker Mary May’s South Jersey Berry Basket class on Saturday or Sunday. Classes begin at 10 a.m. 11a.m., 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. for a fee of $15 for members and $20 for non-members. The fee includes materials.

The class is great for beginners and more experienced weavers. It’s open to all ages, but children under 10 must have a parent to help. Space is limited, so pre-registration is recommended, but walk-ins are also welcome.

Valenzano Winery will also be on hand with wines for sale.

Anyone who brings a new, unwrapped toy and gets a free ride on a horse-drawn wagon.

Admission is $5. There is no charge for Seaport members or children under 5. Off-site parking is free, with a free bus shuttle.
