Unidentified "Big Name" Artist to Perform at Stockton Gala

Don't Call Me Francis will also perform Saturday night, April 27.

A "big name" artist - who has yet to be identified-  and the band "Don't Call Me Francis" will perform at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey's 33rd annual Scholarship Benefit Gala Saturday night, April 27 at the Revel, college officials announced this week.

The Revel will provide the "big name" entertainer, whose identity won't be revealed until the night of the gala, according to college officials. The Stockton Faculty Band will play during the cocktail hour and dinner, according to college representatives.

“Over the past 10 years, the Gala has raised more than $5 million for scholarships, benefiting hundreds of students during that time,” Executive Director of the College Foundation of Stockton College Dr. Philip Ellmore said. “The need for student scholarships has never been greater, and the Gala provides a wonderful way for Stockton’s alumni and friends to make a difference in the lives of our students. Please join us for what promises to be a great evening.”
