Unidentified Man Robs Barnegat Bank: Police

BARNEGAT, N.J. — A man robbed M&T Bank in Barnegat on Friday afternoon, authorities said. The Barnegat Police Department requested assistance from the public in identifying him.

The man handed the teller a note and did not show a weapon during the 4 p.m. robbery on 580 N. Main St., according to police. Officials described him as a white male wearing a blue oxford shirt, dark pants, sneakers and a dark baseball cap.
