Watching Water Use In Waretown

Ocean Township officials are restricting water use while work is done on the water treatment plant.

Waretown residents will have to abide by water use restrictions until the end of June, while one of the two water treatment plants is being repaired.

The work began on May 17 and will end on June 30, according to the township website.

An odd-even lawn watering schedule based on odd-even numbered addresses is now in place. Lawn watering hours are limited to 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
