Water Main Break In Waretown Affecting Certain Streets

Water service has been shut off in certain sections of town due to a water main break at 11th Street and Bayshore, according to an alert from Ocean Township officials.

The affected streets include Waretown Street, Walter Horner Court, Maplewood, Teaneck, Patterson, Irvington, Caldwell and Bloomfield.

All other streets off Bayshore West to Route 9 will experience lower water pressure

Bayshore and 11th Street will be closed to traffic. All events at the Waretown Community Center are cancelled for today.
