Waterfront Jersey Shore Home Destroyed In Massive Fire: Reports
The multiple-alarm fire broke out at the Long Beach Island home early Monday, authorities said.
LONG BEACH ISLAND, NJ — A waterfront home on Long Beach Island was destroyed in a massive fire Monday morning, according to reports.
It was a little after 4 a.m. Dec. 23 when the fire broke out, according to Long Beach Township Police.
Surf City firefighters said that it was a four-alarm fire.

The home, on Holly Drive in Loveladies, is directly on the water on the bayside of LBI.
Video from Action News shows smoke billowing from the large house. Some of the damage can also be seen. Much of the three-story house was destroyed by the flames.

Police said that the home was vacant at the time of the fire. No injuries have been reported, according to police.
The cause of the fire has not been determined. However, police said that nothing appears suspicious as of Monday afternoon. Patch will update as more information becomes available.
