Where Is Amelia Earhart?
History aircraft recovery expert will discuss doomed pilot's disappearance at the Stafford branch of the Ocean County Library

It’s been more than 77 years since aviation pioneer Amelia Earhart took off in her Lockheed Electra for the last time and disappeared into history on her way to Howland Island in the Pacific Ocean.
Despite numerous searches and myriad theories about what went wrong on July 2, 1937, no one knows what happened to Earhart or her navigator, Fred Noonan.
Mark Allen, a member of the International Group For Historic Aircraft Recovery, will be at the Stafford branch of the Ocean County Library from 10:30 am.to 12 noon on Nov. 6 to discuss the puzzling case.
