Winner Of Halloween House Contest In Barnegat Announced
Who had the spookiest house in all of Barnegat? Voters decided, and Barnegat Recreation announced the winner:
BARNEGAT, NJ — Halloween is over, and Barnegat's first house decorating contest for the spooky season is over. Barnegat Township Recreation Department announced the winner on Wednesday.
The scariest house in Barnegat, as voted by locals, is 38 Savannah Drive! The winner gets a $50 gift card, courtesy of Barnegat Recreation.
The house is commonly known as "the clown house" to Barnegat locals. Not only did the home have an amazing haunted display of webs, animatronics and a garage turned into clown room; when Patch visited, two clowns were wandering, scaring kids and adults alike (and taking the occasional selfie).

A sign was given to the winners to proudly display their prize to all of their neighbors.
