Wreaths Across America Honors Late Veterans In Barnegat, Stafford

Ceremonies are set for this weekend in both Barnegat and Stafford as a way to honor and remember veterans.

BARNEGAT-MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Wreaths will be laid upon the graves of veterans throughout the nation this weekend, as people seek to honor and remember those who served our country.

Two Wreaths Across America ceremonies are set for 12 p.m. on Dec. 16.

The locations of the ceremonies are as follows:

  • Barnegat Masonic Cemetery (749 County Route 554, Barnegat)
  • Greenwood Cemetery and Old Baptist Cemetery & Methodist Cemetery (Ceremony at Stafford Township Town Hall, 260 E. Bay Ave., Stafford)

Immediately following the ceremony, wreaths will be laid on the graves of the 480 veterans buried at the cemetery.

Wreaths Across America's mission is to honor and remember every veteran by laying Remembrance wreaths across their graves and speaking their names out loud.
