116 Photos: 12 and Under 'Meet of Champions' at Pleasant Valley Pool

Pleasant Valley Swim Team hosted the Morris County Area Summer Swim League Meet of Champions for 12 and under swimmers. 

The park (and parking) was full and the sounds of splashing and cheering could be heard over half a mile away.  Eleven teams from as far as Lake Hiawatha, Hackettstown and Cromwell brought their teams to Pleasant Valley Pool for a morning of competition. 

The meet was comprised of 35 events (different levels and different styles) with upwards of 6 heats (5 or 6 swimmers competing in each set) for each event.  Timers, announcers, officials, competitors and families cover nearly every inch pool side and the surrounding grounds.
