$160K Raised To Rescue Veterans From Homelessness
More than 500 runners participated in the Veterans Flag Day 5K Run and Fun Walk in Basking Ridge.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Nearly $160,000 was raised during the 17th Annual Flag Day 5K Run and Fun Walk to support Community Hope’s programs to rescue veterans and veteran families from homelessness.
The event was held on June 14 at the NJ VA Healthcare System in Basking Ridge.
The nonprofit organization saves between 1,500 and 1,700 veterans and their family members from homelessness annually. More than 500 runners and walkers participated in the event in support of area veterans.
