2 Basking Ridge Firefighters To Race 5k In Full Gear

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Two Basking Ridge volunteer firefighters will be racing in the 2021 Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk in Princeton in their full gear on Saturday.

Basking Ridge Firefighters Andrew Pottorff and Katie Ferrante will be traveling with other area firefighters to Princeton to participate in the Tunnel to Towers 5k.

As part of the race, Pottorff and Ferrante are looking to raise $500 for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. The foundation was formed following the tragedy of 9/11 and supports our nation’s fallen and catastrophically injured first responders, military heroes and their families.
