2 Truck Fires Reported On I-78, I-287 In Somerset County
Tuesday was a firey morning for the Far Hills-Bedminster Fire Department.
BEDMINSTER, NJ — Tuesday was a firey morning for the Far Hills-Bedminster Fire Department.
A truck fire was reported early Tuesday morning on Interstate 287 in Far Hills.

The volunteer fire department was then called to a tractor-trailer fire on I-78 West in Bedminster.

Along with the volunteer firefighters, 29 EMS responded to both calls, as did Somerset County Hazmat. For the second call, water tenders from Pottsville and Bernardsville and an engine from North Branch Fire Department were asked to help.
This was in addition to four calls earlier in the day, said the fire department.
