274 Coronavirus Cases, 42 Deaths: Latest Basking Ridge Update
The latest on the coronavirus outbreak in Basking Ridge and Somerset County as of Wednesday, July 8.
BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Basking Ridge has a total of 274 confirmed cases and 42 deaths of the coronavirus as of Wednesday, according to Somerset County.
Somerset County has 9 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus on Wednesday and a total of 4,950 cases and 457 deaths, according to the state. Franklin Township is the hardest hit in the county with 1,33 cases and 133 deaths followed by Bridgewater and Bernards Township in terms of death rate.

- Bridgewater Township: 486 cases (70 deaths)
- Far Hills Borough: 3 cases (0 deaths)
- Franklin Township: 1,333 cases (133 deaths)
- Green Brook Township: 145 cases (32 deaths)
- Hillsborough Township: 406 cases (56 deaths)
- Manville Borough: 155 cases (8 deaths)
- Millstone Borough: 3 cases (0 deaths)
- Montgomery Township: 119 cases (6 deaths)
- North Plainfield Borough: 331 cases (36 deaths)
- Peapack-Gladstone Borough: 40 cases (1 death)
- Raritan Borough: 115 cases (12 deaths)
- Rocky Hills Borough: 5 cases (0 deaths)
- Somerville Borough: 143 cases (7 deaths)
- South Bound Brook Borough: 84 cases (3 deaths)
- Warren Township: 136 cases (14 deaths)
