3 New Police Officers Hired In Basking Ridge
The Township Committee also approved the purchase of five new police vehicles on Tuesday night.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Three new officers have joined the Bernards Township Police Department.
Joe Gorky, Stephanie Corona-Morales, and Justin Carney were all sworn in as the department's newest patrol officers at the Tuesday Township Committee meeting.
"All three are currently attending the Morris County Police Academy, scheduled to graduate in the beginning of June. We look forward to your future successes and welcome you to the community and department!" wrote Bernards Township Police Department.

The Committee also passed three resolutions approving the hires. Gorky, Corona-Morales, and Carney were each appointed to Police Officer with a start date of May 1 at an annual salary of $55,992.
"Congratulations and welcome to our Town," said Bernards Township Administrator Pat Monaco.

At the same meeting, the Committee also approved the purchase of five 2025 Dodge Durango AWD Police Vehicles from the Cranford Police Cooperative Pricing System for an amount not to exceed $212,820.
