"We support academic excellence and all students achieving their full potential. We are committed to addressing the challenges facing the BOE. Once elected, we will bring a fresh perspective, increased expertise and greater accountability. At a time when the BOE is struggling with many challenges, including the perceived lack of transparency and trust, poor communication and management issues, better choices are possible. We will choose and pursue an improved path and seek opportunities for increased excellence. We believe our schools should efficiently deliver a broad-based, unbiased, transparent curriculum that is directly accessible to parents. We also believe the BOE would benefit from increased diversity of thought and opinion. Once elected, we will work in a collaborative manner with other BOE members, parents, community members and the school administration to ensure the best possible environment and learning experience for all students. We see transparency and improved communication with the school community as a top priority. We believe that values should be taught at home and that schools should foster values that reinforce hard work, meritocracy, kindness and acceptance. We support intelligent spending related to how our tax dollars are spent on academics, athletics, and the special needs of our students."

Amin holds a degree in computer science from New Jersey Institute of Technology and a law degree from Rutgers University.

Csipak is a trained engineer with experience in financial planning.
