6 Flu Clinics Scheduled By Bernards Township Health Department

The Bernards Township Health Department schedules six flu shot clinics in October.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The Bernards Township Health Department is hosting six seasonal flu shot clinics in October.

All vaccine used at the BTHD clinics is quadrivalent, which means that it protects against four viruses: two influenza A viruses and two influenza B viruses.

All clinics are open to those 4 years old through adults and appointments are not required.

Upcoming clinics being held

  • Wednesday, Oct. 11: St. James Church, 184 S. Finley Ave. in Basking Ridge - 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  • Thursday, Oct. 12: Mendham Area Senior Housing (MASH), One Heritage Drive in Mendham - 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 18: Long Hill Township Town Hall, 915 Valley Rd in Gillette - 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  • Friday, Oct. 20: Peapack-Gladstone Municipal Building, 1 School St. in Peapack - 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 21: Bernards Township Community Center, 289 S. Maple Ave. in Basking Ridge. - 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 24: Bernards Township Community Center, 289 S. Maple Ave. in Basking Ridge - 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

The cost of the flu shot is $25 for residents and $35 for non-residents. There is no charge for those with a valid Medicare Part B card. Participants should consult with their doctor before receiving the flu vaccine. Clinical services are provided by the Visiting Nurse Association of Somerset Hills.
