$70K Luxury SUV Stolen Out Of Somerset County Was Left Unlocked With Keys Inside

The theft occurred in broad daylight on Thursday afternoon at a Bernardsville parking lot.

BERNARDSVILLE, NJ — A $70,000 luxury SUV that was left unlocked with the keys inside was stolen in broad daylight in Bernardsville, police said.

On Thursday at around 12:05 p.m., a resident of Peapack Gladstone reported to the Bernardsville Police that their 2021 Ranger Rover Sport valued at $70,000 had been stolen.

The car was reportedly parked in the parking lot of 37 Olcott Square and left unlocked with the keys inside the vehicle, said police.

This incident remains under investigation by the Bernardsville Police Department Detective Bureau.
