UPDATE: South bound shoulder and right lane as well as all north bound lanes are open now open on I-287.
A serious accident involving at least one police car has shut down both parts of I-287 in Bernards Township, according to the news12 Facebook page.
Multiple injuries have been reported, but no word on the conditions of those involved according to the news12 Facebook page.
