AFCU Foundation Donates Nearly 752 Pounds of Food to NJ and NY

Basking Ridge, N.J. (March 8, 2018) – To help offset the busy holiday season and subsequent decline in donations, the Affinity Federal Credit Union (AFCU) Foundation hosted its “Affinity Fights Hunger” food drive in branches and online, resulting in nearly 752 pounds of donated goods through the generosity of its members and staff.

Run from January 22 through February 5, the event supported the following food banks in New Jersey and New York:

• Center for Food Action
• Flemington Area Food Pantry
• Hands of Hope
• LunchBreak
• Interfaith Food Pantry
• Food Bank Network of Somerset County
• Community Food Bank of New Jersey
• People to People
