Comedy Night Fundraiser To Benefit Liberty Corner Fire Company

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Liberty Corner Fire Company will bring back its biannual comedy night fundraiser on Saturday, April 25, benefitting the all-volunteer fire and rescue organization.

This year's lineup will feature three comics with credits ranging from television to film and live performances across the country. Scheduled performers are Kyle Mara, Alexandra McHale and Mick Thomas.

Mara is a New York City-based standup comedian, writer and actor. He has appeared on Showtime’s "City on a Hill," hosts the podcast "Kyle Mara gets...," and his short film "Vintage Deluxe" won "Best Dark Comedy" at The Austin After Dark Film Festival. His debut half-hour special, "Jokes On The Upper East Side," is available on YouTube and SiriusXM.

McHale recently made her network debut on NBC’s "The Tonight Show." She has appeared on CBS’ "The Late Late Show," Comedy Central’s "Premium Blend" and "New Joke City with Robert Klein" on the Metro Channel. McHale later appeared at the Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival and has headlined at more than 300 colleges.

Thomas, who was born and raised in Wexford, Ireland, now performs regularly across Long Island and Manhattan. He has performed at venues including The Borgata Hotel and Casino, The Comic Strip and The Comedy Cellar. His American television debut on "Gotham Comedy Live" on AXS TV, has a Dry Bar special titled "One of You," and hosts the "Cheaper than Therapy" podcast.

The comedy night is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, at Liberty Corner Fire Company, 95 Church St., Bernards, from 6 to 11 p.m.
