Bernards Township Moves To Ban Data Centers (patch.com) — Bernards Township officials in Basking Ridge are moving to ban large data centers in local office zones, citing environmental, infrastructure and emergency-response concerns. The ordinance, which redefines and restricts data center uses township-wide, now heads to the Planning Board and then a June 23 public hearing where residents can weigh in before a final vote.
