BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Bernards Township will be hosting a New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (NJMVC) mobile unit at town hall on Wednesday, July 29.
On Thursday, July 23, around 11 a.m., registration will open.
"Anyone looking for an appointment should be ready to book at 11 a.m. These appointments will be gone within 24 hours, in some cases it will be much faster," according to Bernards Township.

Available appointment-based services include REAL ID applications, registration renewals, E-bike registration, initial permit processing (written tests are not offered at the mobile unit), non-driver identification cards, and duplicate or replacement titles and registrations.
Several services will also be available on a walk-up basis without an appointment, including license plate surrender, issuance of handicapped, veteran, and Purple Heart placards, and the purchase of red Graduated Driver License (GDL) decals.
