BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The Bernards Township Board of Education briefly outlined three draft district goals at its Monday night meeting.
Board President Jennifer White summarized the three draft goals for the public.
"The first is to shape a shared vision for Berners Township School District, which encompasses going over and revising our district mission," she said. "Two is to strengthen our system of support for every everyday student, and three is to develop a sustainable long-range capital plan."
According to White, each goal includes mapped-out key activities.
Incoming new Superintendent KristenFox wanted board members to review the draft work before the next meeting and send comments in advance.
"What Ms. Fox would really love is before the next board meeting," said White. "If any of you have thoughts on what she has done here, if you could email them to us, and then we can really have a full discussion about this and vote on the goals for our September meeting."
A vote on the goals is planned for the September board meeting.
