Basking Ridge Clerk Awarded For 'Dedicated' Service To Community

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Basking Ridge Township Clerk Rhonda Pisano was presented with anAppreciation Award in recognition of her dedicated service to the community.
The plaque was presented as a surprise by Pamela Borek, President of the Municipal Clerks Association of Somerset County, during the Tuesday night committee meeting.
"It was my honor to recognize a colleague for her dedication that not only to her own community but to our association as a whole," said Borek.

The plaque was awarded for Pisano's time spent on the executive committee of the Municipal or Clerks Association of Somerset County both as a member of the education committee and the secretary for the association.
"Rhonda I want to say thank you. I am blown away by how competent you are," said Bernards Township said Committeewoman Kathleen Grochala.

"I live by character is what you do when no one is watching and boy is that you, Rhonda," said Mayor Janice Fields. "You don't announce a lot of things you do, you just do it with grace, styl e and just dedication and love for our community. I just want to say we can't do what we do here without you every day. You are a blessing and I appreciate you."
Pisano served on the Executive Committee from 2004 – 2020; as Education Committee Member from 2004 – 2020 and Secretary from 2014-2020.
"While it was a nice surprise to bestow this honor on Rhonda we are not surprised," said Committeewoman Joan Bannan. "Thank you for everything you do."
