Basking Ridge Dentists Open Modern, Warm Office Focusing On Patient Comforts
Dr. Azita Ebrahimzadeh said the new Warren practice, Oakwell Dental, was designed to feel warmer and less clinical than a typical office.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — A Basking Ridge husband and wife team of dentists is changing the experience of going to the dentist.
Dr. Azita Ebrahimzadeh and her husband Dr. Arash Baseri opened a new dental practice, Oakwell Dental, at 152 Liberty Corner Road in Warren.
Ebrahimzadeh, who said she and her family live in Basking Ridge, said they wanted to build something closer to home.

Ebrahimzadeh said the office was designed to feel different from a traditional dental practice.
"Most dental offices tend to feel very clinical and outdated, we intentionally designed Oakwell to feel the opposite: modern, warm, and elevated, with a strong focus on patient comfort, aesthetics, and technology," she said.

The goal was to create a space that "feels more in line with a boutique wellness brand than a traditional dental office," said Ebrahimzadeh.
The practice will operate as a general and family dentistry office offering routine dental care, root canals, implants, and orthodontic care, including aligners. Children will also be treated at the practice.
"My goal is to basically change the experience that people have," Ebrahimzadeh said. "It’s still going to be dentistry, but it’s going to be more like a spa, kind of like a lounge, kind of a feeling."
She said the office will include features such as televisions on the ceiling, headphones, eye masks, and a "comfort menu."
Ebrahimzadeh said patients are already booking appointments. The office is promoting founding patient perks for the first 100 patients, including "free professional whitening for life."
The office also plans to use an air polisher for dental cleanings, which she described as a more comfortable option than a standard cleaning.
In addition, Ebrahimzadeh said she is certified in cosmetic services such as Botox and fillers and may add those offerings later.
Ebrahimzadeh said she graduated from dental school in 2015, completed a one-year residency, and has been practicing since then. She has operated an established practice in Holmdel since 2019. Her husband, who she said graduated in 2013, is expected to work part-time at Oakwell Dental while continuing at his current office.
