Basking Ridge To Discuss Opening Pleasant Valley Pool
The Bernards Township Pool Commission will meet Monday to discuss if and how they can reopen Pleasant Valley pool.
BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The Bernards Township Pool Commission will meet this upcoming Monday to discuss if and how they can reopen Pleasant Valley pool following the coronavirus closure.
Murphy said this past Monday that municipal and private-club swimming pools can reopen on June 22 with rules and guidelines in place.
"We are currently determining if and/or how we can open up our town pool (Pleasant Valley) given all the restrictions that are currently in place with regard to safely running the same in line with the safety measures/protocol issued by the Governor's office," Mayor James Baldassare Jr. said.

Following the meeting Monday, the pool commission will tell residents what is decided and why.
"Everyone please continue to stay safe and be well. Let's remain vigilant as things begin to further open up and let's all remain positive. While we still may have a ways to go in our return to normalcy, let's all take some solace in knowing we are moving forward toward that end, and are in fact one day closer," Baldassare Jr. said.
