Basking Ridge To Discuss Quarry Redevelopment Plan Tomorrow
The open public session portion of the meeting will be held Tuesday at 8 p.m. at Ridge High School Performing Arts Center.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The Bernards Township Committee meeting will continue to discuss the Quarry Redevelopment Plan at its Tuesday meeting.
The executive session of the meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the Bernards Township Municipal Building, 1 Collyer Lane followed by the open public session portion of the meeting at 8 p.m. at Ridge High School Performing Arts Center, 268 S. Finley Ave.
The meeting will discuss the process going forward on any redevelopment at the quarry. The Township Committee also plans to have experts representing the developer present to address questions which have been raised.

Members of township staff, as well as consultants the township has used at the quarry in the past will also be present.

The meeting will also be video-streamed live on the township’s website at www.bernards.org. It will not be broadcasted live on local PEG channels.
A recording of the meeting is scheduled for broadcast on Cablevision Channel 15 and Verizon Channel 35 on Friday, Dec. 1 at 8 p.m. A YouTube video link will also be available on the township’s website after the meeting.
The public portion for the upcoming meeting had to be relocated due to the number of residents interested in the project. At the Oct. 24, residents packed town hall leaving only standing room left. It also lasted about three hours due to resident's comment and concerns.
