Basking Ridge Election 2020: Republicans Lead, Unofficial Results

In Basking Ridge, there are four candidates vying for two seats on the township committee. See the results:

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Republicans James Baldassare Jr. and Kate Grochala are currently leading the race for Bernards Township Committee, according to unofficial results.

Baldassare Jr. and Grochala were running against Democrats Jon Sandler and Sophia Chadda for the two seats on the committee.

Here are the unofficial results as of 9:12 a.m.:

  • James Baldassare Jr.: 6,193
  • Kate Grochala: 5,805
  • Sophia Chadda: 5,456
  • Jon Sandler: 5,285

The Bernards Township School Board is uncontested with three candidates vying for three, three-year seats.
