BASKING RIDGE, NJ — A Basking Ridge local and nephew were the 100,000th visitor at Lord Stirling Stable for 2017.

Colleen Joyce of Basking Ridge and her nephew, Colin Joyce, age 4, were visiting the stable to enjoy a Lead Line pony ride when the Somerset County Park Commission awarded the two gifts for the honor on June 6.

With the summer season approaching, the Park Commission again expects to exceed 1 million annual visitors enjoying active and passive recreation opportunities.
