Walsh got involved with JVS when a board of trustee asked him to help them find new space for their organization. JVS recently moved to a larger, more modern facility in East Orange.
The new building consists of classrooms and computer labs that have been customized for each of JVS’ core programs. These include vocational training, education and literacy training, English as a second language, adult basic education, citizenship exam preparation and refugee services.

Walsh was very interested to help, not only because finding space for companies and organizing company moves is his company’s specialty, but he wanted to become involved with JVS because of one of their specialties – helping adults with autism find employment.
Walsh is actively involved in helping to raise funds for several other nonprofit organizations in Morris and Somerset counties. He has been recognized for his philanthropic efforts on behalf of United Way, the American Cancer Society, Somerset Hills Learning Institute, Interfaith Food Pantry of Morristown, Employment Horizons and Family Service of Morris County.
All proceeds of Taste & Toast will support JVS’ work in providing life-enhancing services on a nonsectarian basis to nearly 20,000 individuals each year.
