Basking Ridge Local Will Empower Kids to Develop Lifelong, Healthy Habits.

The Alliance for a Healthier Generation has appointed Basking Ridge's Angela Moskow to join their expanded board of directors

Basking Ridge, NJ -- Basking Ridge native and New Jersey’s Sanofi Vice President Angela Moskow will join the Alliance for a Healthier Generation’s expanded board of directors to help kids lead healthy lives.

Founded by the American Heart Association and Clinton Foundation, the Alliance for a Healthier Generation serves as a catalyst for children’s health, working with schools, companies, community organizations, healthcare professionals and families to build healthier environments where children thrive.

The Alliance’s current work directly impacts more than 20 million children, with a focus on low-income and minority populations who are at increased risk for poor health, obesity and other diseases. Millions more young people benefit from system changes initiated through partnerships between the Alliance and the corporate sector.

Angela Moskow is currently a Vice President at Sanofi U.S., leading a team focused on Chronic Disease Prevention & Wellness. She is charged with developing and implementing strategic direction for external prevention and wellness partnerships, initiatives and investments.

She is responsible for building alliances with health organizations representing patients, providers, payers, governments and other constituencies that are working to improve health policy, with a view to positive patient outcomes.

Angela joined Sanofi in 1990, and has held various positions within marketing and sales, including serving as Vice President of Insulin and Metabolism Marketing in the U.S.

Angela holds a degree in Marketing from the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond. Angela was recently appointed to the Northwest Missouri State University Foundation Board and serves as co-chair of the Academic Excellence Champions Group. She was also awarded the Highest Leaf Award by The Women’s Venture Fund this past summer.

Along with Moskow, the expanded board of directors include Chelsea Clinton, Mary Beth Donahue and Dave Josserand.
