Basking Ridge Man Had Hundreds Of Child Porn Images, Videos: Cops
John Schulenburg, 65, of Basking Ridge was charged with having and sharing images of child sexual abuse.
BASKING RIDGE, NJ — A Basking Ridge man was charged with having and sharing images of child sexual abuse, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito announced.
In July, an uncover officer found that John Schulenburg, 65, of Basking Ridge was reportedly sharing multiple files of images featuring child sexual abuse from an internet address traced to his home, according to documents filed in this case and statements made in court.
On Nov. 6 police took a computer from Schulenburg’s home that had hundreds of images and videos of child pornography, including images of prepubescent children being sexually abused, Carpenito said.

Schulenburg is charged with one count of distribution of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.
He faces a mandatory minimum penalty of 15 years in prison, a maximum penalty of 40 years in prison, and fine of $250,000 for the distribution of child pornography charge and a mandatory minimum penalty of 10 years in prison, a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison, and fine of $250,000 for the possession of child pornography charge.
