BASKING RIDGE, NJ — A Basking Ridge family is mourning wife and mother Henna Lee, who died of cancer on Monday, June 20.

Friends and community members have donated more than $94,000 on GoFundMe since June 11. The fundraiser began to help Henna and her husband Simon afford treatment. Simon had been staying home with her, they said. Henna had been on multiple trials to fight the cancer.

"It is with great sadness that this is written," friends wrote on the GoFundMe page Tuesday. "Our hearts are broken, Henna went to be with the Lord last night. She was surrounded by all her family, including Simon, Stella, Heather and Stanley."
