BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Five days later, Friday's nor'easter is still causing issues in Bernards Township with multiple road closings, power outages and even issues with school busing.
As of 7:30 a.m. the following roads remain closed in the township:

- Oxbow is closed.
Although roads remained closed, Bernards Township resumed schools on Tuesday.

"Unfortunately these road closures create a very significant problem in providing bus service for a large number of our routes. Obviously, no bus service can be provided on closed sections of roads. Furthermore bus service may be impossible or delayed in areas where a bus route normally uses a section of road that is presently closed," the district stated.
As a result parents, who live on closed streets, were asked to drive their children to school or make other arrangements.
