BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Karen Choie retired on Wednsday after serving 20 years for the Bernards Township Library.

Choie began her career at the library in late 1997 when she applied for an opening as a full-time senior library assistant.

"Since then hundreds, perhaps thousands, of local residents have been helped by Karen to find their next great read or directed to movies they will surely enjoy," Library Director Ruth Lufkin told Patch. "As she retires after 20 years of service, library trustees, staff and so very many local residents wish her well in this new chapter of her life."
