In 2012 about 19 percent of vehicle fatalities in New Jersey were because of impaired driving. The release does note, however, that the percentage is lower than in previous years.

The Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over project provides funding for local municipalities so they are able to implement an impaired driving enforcement campaign.
