School Finances, Reserves To Be Discussed Monday Night In Basking Ridge

The Bernards Township BOE is holding a BT Connect town hall at 7 p.m. on Oct. 3 in the Ridge High School cafeteria.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The Bernards Township School District's finances and reserves will be openly discussed with the public during the BT Connect meeting on Monday night.

The meeting will be held on Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. in the Ridge High School Cafeteria. Due to the BT Connect component of this meeting, the meeting will not be live-streamed.

The Board will be taking care of a few business items and then moving on to the BT Connect Meeting where the conversations will focus on state aid history of the district, district reserves, debt and capital projects (e.g., athletic facilities and fields, building upgrades, HVAC, etc.).

Variables that impact long term planning for the district will also be shared.
