Bernards School Reopening Update To Be Discussed Monday

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The Bernards Township Board of Education will meet on Monday night to discuss a school reopening update for the 2021-22 school year.

The meeting will be held inside the Ridge High School's Performing Arts Center on Monday at 7 p.m.

Superintendent Nick Markarian previously said all Bernards Township School District employees must be vaccinated against COVID-19 by Sept. 1. Read More: Vaccine Required For All Bernards Township School Staff

Since then Gov. Phil Murphy said all New Jersey school teachers and staff, as well as state employees, must be vaccinated against COVID-19 by Oct. 18 or undergo regular testing for COVID-19 at least once or twice a week during a Monday afternoon news conference.
