Bernards Township Candidate Debate Is Thursday

The three candidates running for township committee will answer questions from the audience and students.​

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Get to know the three local candidates running for township committee during a candidate debate on Thursday.

Hosted by the League of Women Voters and students from Ridge High School Student Government and Ridge Empowerment for Political Participation, candidates running for township committee will answer questions from the audience and students.

The debate will be held at 7 p.m. at the Ridge Performing Arts Center at 268 S. Finley Ave. in Basking Ridge.

There is a contested race this year with three candidates vying for the one, three-year seat on the township committee.

Candidates include democrat Sophia Chadda, Republican Janice Fields and Independent Todd Edelstein.
