Bernards Township Roads To Be Resurfaced

Multiple Bernards Township roadways will be repaved along with the walking paths at two county parks.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Somerset County will begin repaving multiple roadways in Basking Ridge and also walking paths at two county park this month.

Here is a look at which township roads will be repaved.

(Milling and Paving 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.)

  • Sept. 18 to Sept. 21 - CR657 South Maple Ave in Bernards Township from Pond Hill Road to West Oak Street
  • Sept. 24 - CR613 South Finley Ave. in Bernards Township from Cross Road to NJ Transit Train Bridge

Somerset County will also be conducting roadwork in other county towns throughout the month including:

  • Tuesday to Thursday - ADA ramps on CR619 Cedar Grove Lane in Franklin from Easton Ave to New Brunswick Road
  • Tuesday and Wednesday - Walking Path at Skillman Park in Montgomery Township
  • Thursday and Friday - Walking Path at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater Township
  • Friday to Monday - ADA ramps on CR605 River Road in Rocky Hill at the intersection of Crescent Ave.
  • Monday, Sept. 17 - Milling and paving entrance at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater Township
  • Monday, Sept. 17 - Paving Walking Path at Skillman Park in Montgomery Township

  • Sept. 25 to Sept. 28 - CR619 Cedar Grove Lane in Franklin Township from Easton Ave. to New Brunswick Road
