Bernards Township To Offer Health Screenings May 5, 6
Health screenings will help prevent and provide early detection of diseases.

Basking Ridge, NJ -- The Bernards Township Health Department is holding the Annual Health Screening on Thursday, May 5 and Friday, May 6 from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. at St. James Church in Basking Ridge.
Costs for the clinics are $30 for residents and $40 for non-residents.
“Early detection of disease allows people the best treatment options and saves lives,” said Health Officer Lucy Forgione.

If you have a chronic disease such as diabetes or heart disease, it is helpful to monitor your blood work results more than once each year.
The Annual Health Screening is held to identify conditions such as diabetes, gout, kidney disease, liver disease, cholesterol levels, anemia, leukemia, severe infections and hypertension. A separate thyroid screening is also offered.

In-person pre-registration is required at the Bernards Township Health Department at 262 S. Finley Avenue in Basking Ridge from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. There is a $5 processing fee for cancelled appointments.
