Bernards Township Pool Fees To Increase, Golf Fees Remain Steady
The change in the membership fees for residents and non-residents was approved by the Bernards Township Committee last week.
BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Bernards Township residents will see an increase in pool membership fees in 2022, but golf fees will remain the same.
The Bernards Township Committee passed both resolutions recommended by the Pool Commission and the Golf Commission during the Nov. 23 meeting.

Resident pool membership fees were increased about $10 to $20 per payment tier. Non-resident membership fees were increased $45 per payment tier.

"Fee increases are necessary to maintain revenues to cover rising minimum wage and material costs in addition to funding large capital improvement projects such as the resurfacing of the main pool," according to Township Parks & Recreation Director Jennifer Gander.
The pool commission voted on the fee increases at Oct. 25 meeting.

RESIDENT FAMILY MEMBERSHIP- Early Rate – Through April 30 $ 440.00
- Regular Rate – Beginning May 1 $ 540.00
- Early Rate – Through April 30 - $ 340
- Regular Rate – Beginning May 1 - $ 440
- Early Rate – Through April 30 - $225
- Regular Rate – Beginning May 1 - $300
- Early Rate – Through April 30 - $100
- Regular Rate – Beginning May 1 - $120
- (Paid First Membership Year in addition to membership fee)
- Family or Two Person Membership Initiation Fee - $350
- Includes an additional 3 complimentary guest visit credits
- Single Membership Initiation Fee - $175
- Includes 1 additional complimentary guest visit credit

- Regular Rate – Beginning May 1 - $840
