Bernards Twp. Officer Rescued Stranded Driver With Tire Change
A grateful motorist's wife wrote a heartfelt letter and made a donation to police after Officer Severino came to the rescue.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — A grateful motorist's wife wrote a heartfelt letter and made a donation to the Bernards Township Police Department after a kind officer came to her husband's rescue.
Clinton Township's Martha LaValette's husband was driving in Basking Ridge a few weeks ago when he got stranded in the area of Maple Avenue and Verizon Way with a flat tire.
Due to the stormy weather that night there was no roadside assistance and LaValette's husband had been waiting for a tow truck for three or four hours.
