Burglars Enter Homes As Basking Ridge Residents Slept, Stole Cars: PD
Police released a home surveillance video of the two wanted suspects from the early morning burglaries.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Two burglars are wanted in connection with breaking into homes in the township while residents slept to steal their cars, said police. (See video of the suspects below)
On Thursday at around 2:15 a.m., the burglars broke into the homes on Autumn Drive through a back door.
"Residents were home but were not confronted by suspect(s)," said Bernards Township Detective Lieutenant Michael Sweeney.

As a result, a 2019 BMW X5 and a 2018 BMW 3 Series were stolen.
A police chase for the stolen vehicle began but was called off because it was too dangerous for the officer and the public, said Chief Jon Burger.
