A pair of America’s top early music specialists – Peter Sykes directs harpsichord studies at The Juilliard School; Gwendolyn Toth is professor of Historical Performance Practice at The Graduate Center, CUNY – join together to share an evening of intimate music created by “virginalist composers,” those English keyboard musicians writing for virginal, clavichord, harpsichord, and chamber organ in the late 1500s and early 1600s, the period of peak English exploration of the New World.
Included in the program will be Two by Two’s mashup of “The Battle of Trenton,” a la William Byrd.

Music lovers are invited to an afternoon of exceptional vocal harmony at the A Cappella Jamboree on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at 2:00 PM at St. Mark’s Church, 140 S. Finley Avenue, Basking Ridge, NJ.
The program features Gimme Four, an internationally acclaimed a cappella quartet celebrated for their vibrant performances, precision, and rich ringing harmonies. They will be joined by special guest appearances from The Princeton Nassoons and The Princeton Tigerlilies, whose signature collegiate style and musical sophistication add an exciting dimension to the program.
This engaging concert offers a dynamic mix of repertoire—from classic barbershop favorites to contemporary arrangements—highlighting the versatility, artistry, and pure vocal power that define a cappella music.

The Lord Stirling Theater Company presents “Pygmalion” at Farmstead Arts

As many as 40% of people with Autism are nonspeaking — more than 30 million worldwide. Yet only a small fraction of nonspeakers have been taught how to communicate. Elizabeth Bonker is working to change this. Join us for an informative presentation on Communication 4 ALL, a nonprofit designed to ensure communication is available to all nonspeakers. Communication 4 ALL gives families and schools the resources they need to teach nonspeakers to type, free of charge, while also working to advocate and uplift non-speakers with autism who type (typers). 
At today's talk, Elizabeth will discuss her journey and how her non-profit works to increase access. There will be a Q&amp;A at the end of the presentation. 
This program is open to all ages. 
Presenter: Elizabeth Bonker is the Executive Director of <a href="https://communication4all.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Communication 4 ALL</a>, a nonprofit with the mission to ensure nonspeakers with autism have access to communication and education. Elizabeth learned to type to communicate when she was five years old and was mainstreamed in 1st grade. Her <a href="https://www.rollins.edu/college-of-liberal-arts/news/elizabeth-bonker-commencement-address/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">2022 valedictorian commencement address</a> at Rollins College went viral with 4 billion impressions propelling her mission onto a global stage. Elizabeth’s advocacy work includes a <a href="https://bernards.aspendiscovery.org/GroupedWork/b86b0c91-0d15-08cd-998e-7192f9ed5ea0-eng/Home?searchId=24973375&amp;recordIndex=1&amp;page=1&amp;searchSource=local&amp;referred=resultIndex" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">2011 book, I Am in Here</a>, and a <a href="https://elizabethbonker.hearnow.com/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">2022 music album</a>. Featuring Curt Radabaugh as General Washington and Alisa Dupuy as Lady Washington. Today, we often see America’s first “First Couple” as very old people, in stodgy portraits. However, at the start of the American Revolution, they were in their 40s, a vibrant couple in middle age. They lived and loved and had their joys as well as their trials. Learn about this important couple as well as the people who surrounded them and helped them achieve all that they did. Hear from them about how they met, about their marriage, their families, their responsibilities and, of course, about their love. It is educational, emotional and romantic. 
Presenter: Alisa Dupuy (Martha Washington) began her business "Ladies of History" in 2006. Alisa is a retired French teacher from Princeton Public Schools and Lafayette College. She has had a life-long interest in history and turned that interest into a business portraying famous women in history, Martha Washington being the first. Alisa's goal is to bring this devoted Patriot to life for a new generation and to remind us of women's contributions to the American cause. Curt Radabaugh (George Washington) has had a life-long fascination with George Washington and he has achieved his goal of portraying this great man. A veteran and retired law enforcement officer, Curt seeks to continue his life of service by helping to preserve America's past for a new generation.

America 250 Event: George & Martha Washington - A Love Story

The Gallery at Bex

Robin Love’s ABSENCE OF GRAVITY opens at Gryphon Gallery on May 30 and runs through September 27, 2026. This inaugural exhibition under the gallery’s new name features 22 small-format oil paintings by New Jersey artist Robin Love, whose atmospheric, color-saturated works explore beauty, emotion, and loss through ethereal skies and shifting light.
A former photographer whose work is included in the permanent collection of The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Love presents her first solo exhibition of oil paintings, including works created during a residency in Orquevaux, France.
An artist reception will be held Thursday, June 4, from 6–8 PM, featuring complimentary bevs &amp; bites from artist and chef Becky Geisel of Bex Catering. All are welcome.
