The History of Mystery and Magic (for adults and teens only)

Magician Mike Rose combines his love of performing with his passion for magic history creating the new show, “The History of Mystery.” This is definitely not your typical magic show! During the performance the audience will not only hear about magic and magicians from the past but they will see antiquarian magic recreated and performed. Many of the pieces of magic apparatus used in the performance are rare antiques from Mike’s personal collection. The historical facts and tidbits about magic’s past make the show fascinating and the performance of the magic makes the show engaging and fun. This program truly is entertaining and educational!

Presenter: Mike Rose makes his living performing comedy magic and logs over 200 shows per year. However, he is also a magic historian and author. His first book, “Joe Karson – Beyond Zombie” set him on the road to writing about magic's past.
