How Central New Jersey Won the Revolutionary War

The American War of Independence is about 13 remote British colonies coming together to fight the most powerful nation on earth. This presentation provides a brief overview of the key events for those less familiar with this war, and challenges those that are to redefine the role Central New Jersey played in establishing this independence. It also challenges historians to shift the traditional telling of a tribal narrative of heroes and villains to a more inclusive one that focuses on why and how things happened rather than who did them and when; and it will include the British perspective too.
